I can't believe I haven't left a review earlier. I've only been coming here for over 30 years. I grew up in the neighborhood and this was and still is one of my favorite places to go. Their sandwiches are the absolute best. The smell as you walk up is intoxicating. It's a family run place, as long as I've been going there and they are the nicest people. Great family. My personal favorite is the steak and cheese with extra onions. I will go an hour out of the way to visit this place once in a while. Parking can be a little tricky but so very worth it!

Came in here with a friend not knowing it was cash only. The man who took our orders told us about a few ATMs a couple blocks down and offered to get our order started for us if we were planning on getting some cash and coming back. We did exactly that and arrived back just in time for our order to be served.
The sandwiches themselves were huge! If a medium is that big a large must be a real showstopper. Great food (get the pastrami!) and great service--I'll definitely stop by again.
